Hidy Ho and HAPPY VALENTINE’s DAY Stampers,

snoopy Happy February

I love Valentine’s Day!!!

Snow Storm 2

the sun is out now and it is GORGEOUS!

Snow Storm

the ant is buried

(if you missed the post yesterday, make sure you check it out)

he’s gone!!!!

We got a lot, I’m just sayin’

So today is Valentine’s Day and I’m taking Kevin out to lunch after he plows us out!  :0)  Here is the card I made for him.  It was one we did at my demonstrator get together designed by Barb Stomieroski and I just thought it was very appropriate for my hubby.

Hardwood Heart Collection Valentine

Don’t you just love the Hardwood Stamp.

This is stamped on Baked Brown Sugar

and cut out with the Hearts Collection Framelits.

Love the way it came out.

So now what is my project for today.  VALENTINE CRACKERS!!  This week Nora and I went down to the Albany New York Ronald McDonald House and stamped with the residents.  While we were there, we made a whole bunch of crackers for the house so they can put them on the pillows for the residents as little gifts when they get back from the hospital (after a very long day)!  Here is what they looked like.

Here is how I made them.  If you are viewing this in your inbox, make sure you click here to view the video.

Hope you decide to try these.  Here are a few different sizes you can try.

Holiday Crackers

1.  From our Paper Pack 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″

2.  Score the long side at 1″, 1 1/2″, 2″ 4 1/2″, 5″ and 5 1/2″

3.  Turn ninety degrees and score at 1″, 2″, 3″ and 4″

4.  Accordion fold both short sides

5.  Now on the long sides, fold the first fold and punch at 1 1/2″ and 5″

6.  Continue to fold in the same manner and punch the same punches at the next set of folds (1 1/2″ and 5″)

7.  I used 6″ of ribbon to wrap around the crackers on either side.

3.  Score on the short side at  1 1/2″,  2″  and 2 1/2″ turn and do the same thing on the other side

4.  Accordion fold both short sides

5.  Now on the long sides, fold the first fold and punch at 2″, TURN and punch at 2″

6.  Continue to fold in the same manner and punch the same punches at the next set of folds
