September 20, 2026. Today Teaspoon of Fun is so excited to show you two of the cutest cards I’ve made. You know my son and daughter-in-love have twin boys and what a hoot they are. They are the same but they are different. They are very much into superheroes – one loves batman and one loves spiderman/superman. So for their 5th birthday I made them these adorable cards. I love making cards for my family and friends and really personalizing them!! These really made me smile!

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…

Twining Birthday Super Heroes
- I started out by stamping the Super Kids image two times. Then I colored them with Copic Markers. I did their hair and faces/hands the same because they ARE twins! Then I started personalizing them. Jonny loves Spiderman and Superman (thank goodness they are the same colors)! Then George loves Batman.
- After I colored them, I cut them out with the coordinating dies that come with the set…it’s a combo!
3. Next take your Slimline Town Stamp Set and stamp it on the bottom of both cards that measured 4″ x 5 1/4″ each.
4. THEN stamp it again on a piece of copy paper and cut the copy paper image out. This is going to act as your mask.
5. Use your EZ Grand Tape Runner and put the EZ Grand Repositionable Dots cartridge in. Run that on the back of the mask. Apply the mask over the stamped image on your layer.
a. For the Spiderman card I used the Mini Blending Brush and some Brilliance White Pigment Ink and blended a circle of white. Add the web from the Spooky Spiderweb Die Set by putting a little Deluxe Adhesive from the Precision Glue Press to the middle of the web (the rest of the web will automatically raise a little! COOL!) Remove the mask and use it on the Batman card.
b. For the Batman card I used the Mini Blending Brush and Distressed Oxide Ink (Squeezed Lemon) for the moon. Remove the mask.
6. Add these layers to the card bases by using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive .
George’s card.
You can see that I popped the images up with Regular Black Foam Squares and Micro Black Foam Squares.
I used the Build A Graveyard Die Set and Black Mirror Paper to get the bats for George’s shirt and to place a few around the town. I Popped the bat onto the super hero and then popped the superhero onto the card.
I used my White Gel Pen#5 and White Gel Pen #8 to add some highlights to the words on the card.
Jonny’s card.
I stamped the town on the bottom as I did for George’s card.
I cut the spider web from out of our Black Mirror Paper using the Spooky Spiderweb Die Set. Adhere it by putting a little Deluxe Adhesive from the Precision Glue Press to the middle of the web (the rest of the web will automatically raise a little! COOL!)
I used my White Gel Pen#5 and White Gel Pen #8 to add some highlights to the words on the card.
I added the cards to one of our A2 White Envelopes, put their names on the envelopes and they were thrilled.
