Tip for sticky dies

All Posts

23 Nov

Hidy Ho stampers,

I wanted to share a little tip with you for those Big Shot dies that like to keep our paper!  They don't like to give it up!  Does your die ever look like this?

That's where the pokie thing came in handy!  I would dig them out.

soooooooo I took my packing tape and put it directly on my die (and leave it there).

ha ha ha…no silly you don't just lay it on there you put a layer of the tape on the die!

Here is one that is done.  Just cover the whole thing.

and don't forget those embooslits.  They are sticky little critters too so tape BOTH sides.

Yep, I went tape crazy and covered them all and IT WORKS!

Nothing sticks!  So go try it and see how great it works!  You won't want to stop cutting them out!

I hope this helps you in some small way.  It's easy and it works.

Happy Thanksgiving America!!!

I’ve tried it with mine, but it still doesn’t cut the paper, does it make a difference that i use the cuttlebug? Do i need a specific sandwich? Please help, i don’t know what else to try :/ thanks!

Hi Marushita, are you using the tape on the die? I’m not familiar with the cuttlebug so I can’t tell you if it will work in there or not. It may be that the cuttlebug does not have the right depth for it. If you have any questions let me know. deb http://www.stampladee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs.
