There’s a New Snowman in Town

February 6, 2025. There’s a new snowman in town. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you this adorable snowman called Winter Boots. As I’m working on this little guy it’s snowing like crazy outside – big fluffy flakes – gorgeous. I started with a colored piece of card stock that measure 3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″”. Before you add this to your card base, cut out several SNOWFLAKES from the set called Frosty Hello Combo. Set these aside for the time being. Now adhere the layer to the Slimline Card Base using the EZ Grand Tape Dispenser. Next cut out one of theSlimline Looped Rectangles. I love love love love love this set of dies! They are sooooooo pretty.
On the Slimline Looped Rectangle stamp the Winter Boots image using Black Hybrid Ink (on sale today) and the Stampwheel (on sale today). Color using our Copic Markers. When you are done, adhere this to the card base using White Crafty Foam Tape so it’s popped up from the card base.
Stamp the words “Snowflake Kisses!” from the Frosty Hello Combo. Cut a coordinating piece of colored card stock 1/4″ larger than your sentiment strip. Adhere these two together and then to your card base using the Precision Glue Press.
Add some Wink of Stella and Crystal Glaze to the heart.
Take the snowflakes you cut from the purple layer and add them to your creation using White Micro Foam Squares. Color the snowflakes and the carrot nose with Wink of Stella. Add some of the Autumn Fairy Jewels to the snowflakes.
I did the same for the snowflake on the bottom. I also used my White Gel Pen and Micron Archival Ink Pen to add details to the creation.
Add your card to one of our Slimline Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
Make sure you have enough Slimline Card Bases to make these cute cards.
