Hidy Ho Stampers,
The spotlight is on. At our demonstrator meeting we used an old technique which I absolutely love. Here is the card I made using this technique…
Swallowtail
"so how did I do that"
SUPPLIES:
Stamp Set: Swallowtail
Ink: Black Stazon
Cardstock: Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Basic Black
Accessories: Wisteria Wonder marker, different sized circle punches (I used 1 1/4" circle and 1" circle)
DIRECTIONS:
Cardbase – Wisteria Wonder (8 1/2" x 5 1/2"); Basic Black is 4" x 5 1/4"; Whisper White (YOU WILL NEED TWO PIECES) 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamp the Butterfly on both pieces of Whisper White with your Black Stazon. Set one aside. The other one, color with your Wisteria Wonder marker. With the one you colored, you will punch out different sized circles (you don't need a lot of them, just a few). Take those circles and match them up with the other butterfly you stamped but did not color. Now you have random colored pieces on the butterfly and you are DONE!
You can color as much or as little as you want (depending on how vibrant you want your picture to be, and how much you want the color to pop out!) I wanted this one to look very subtle. So what do you think? Give it a try and if you have any questions, just contact me!
