Sneak Peek #3 Heart & Home Bundle with Deb Valder

Hidy Ho Stampers,

Current Hostess Code:  DRPB7RP3

Today is the Travers Race here in Saratoga Springs, New York.  It is so exciting!!!!  If American Pharoah wins the Travers today, it will be the first time that a horse has won the Triple Crown and the Travers  since 1941 when Whirlaway did it!  The town is just so “a-buzz”!  Soooooooo exciting!

American-Pharoah-684x547

Today I wanted to share another card I did with the new and upcoming product from the 2015 Holiday catalog.

hearth-&-home-cozy-chirstmas-embellished-ornaments-holiday-stampin-up-stampladee-deb-valder-santa-claus-2

Here is how I did it…if you are reading this from your email, make sure you click on the video and it will bring you to my blog where you can actually see it.  :0)  Hope you like it.

Card dimensions:

Card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″.

Night of Navy layer is 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.

Whisper White piece is 2 1/2″ x 3 1/4″

Then you will need one window and one window sill.

Let me know what you think of this card.  Do you like it better with or without the moon.  Did you like the icicles?  Have you ever done the icicles before?  and lastly, did you watch the Travers Race?

Deb. . . . I had no idea you were in Saratoga. My hubby is a retired equine veterinarian here in MD. He had a 9 man practice and treated Triple Crown contenders that would come here to compete in the Preakness. He still works Preakness Day and was very impressed with American Pharoah when he was here. We were so disappointed, for all involved, that he didn’t win the Travers. I’m also a SU! demonstrator and read your blog whenever you post!!!

Beautiful Card. If you used a removeable adhesive on the back of the moon, it makes it so much easier.
