March 8, 2026. Today Teaspoon of Fun is so excited to bring you some of our newest products in the shop. Spring will soon be here and with that is rainy weather. So April Showers will bring May flowers as they say (even though it’s still March). This card is just so much fun to send to friends.

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
I used…110, R11, Y35, C3
Rainy Day Mouse
- Let’s start with the background – it’s called Splashing Puddles Die and is the cutest little background ever! I cut one out of white card stock.
- Adhere it to a blue card base using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive. I used the smallest applicator from your Precision Glue Press so you can get very precise application around those water rings.
3. Stamp the sentiment from our VERY OWN Teaspoon Of Fun set called A Friendly Note Willow’s Way, Black Hybrid Ink and the STAMPWHEEL.
4. Cut out the pieces to the large umbrella from the Umbrella Trio Die set. Attach the handle to the larger bottom piece using the Precision Glue Press. Now add the upper part of the umbrella using White Thin Foam Squares. THIN foam squares are used so it doesn’t pop up too much.
5. Add some white dots using the White 08 Gel Pen.
6. Set that aside until we put together our little mouse.
7. Let’s start working on the little mouse. You can cut him out of all colored card stock as I did in this picture or you can cut him out of all white card stock and color them in. Let’s go easy and cut them out in all colored cardstock.
8. Cut out the Raincoat in yellow, cut out the mask, arms, and tail out of a chestnut color. I also cut the “extra hands” out of chestnut. Cut out the main part of the mouse and the under mask piece out of white. *****SAVE THE EYES AND MOUTH!!! Yes those little tiny pieces that you will add with the Jewel Picker. As you can see, the mouse does NOT need his raincoat if you want him for something else.
9. If you do decide to use the raincoat, you will need the extra hands. Attach them to the back of the coat as shown.
This is what it looks like with the extra hands.
10. Attach the umbrella with White Thin Foam Squares.
11. Attach the mouse using Regular White Foam Squares (you want the mouse to be a little higher than the umbrella.
12. Lace the umbrella handle under the mouse’s hand.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
