Hidy Ho Stampers,
Did you realize that Valentine's Day is right around the corner? Yep, it is. So we all need to start thinking HEARTS! What another great day to celebrate being a cardmaker! So here's what I've come up with…
If you need to purchase any stamping supplies, remember to go to my Online Store at www.stampladee.stampinup.net and shop away!
I've been playing with the Hearts Collection Framelits #125599.
For the Crumb Cake card, I took the #2 heart (I numbered mine from smallest to largest) and cut it out of the 3 3/4" x 5" piece (you can't do this with a punch because the punch can't fit up that far) so framelits are excellent for this technique. Cut your heart out (ouch, that sounds painful), turn it over, outline the heart with snail adhesive and add strips of scrap ribbon. I used pop dots to attach this layer to the next layer.
When you are done with that, put the frame back into the heart so you can TRACE around it with the White Gel pen. That's it…so simple but so cute.
I did basically the same thing to the white card but ran the one piece through the embossing folder.
