March 13, 2026. Today Teaspoon of Fun is so excited to bring you some of our newest products in the shop. This Majestic Heron Block Print Die is stunning. I’ve used it quite a few times since we got it in the shop and I’m in LOVE with it. I’m also going to show you how to add some amazing texture on this card using several of our dies.

I used…110, B00, B21, B23, B29, Y08, YR24, C1
Majestic Heron Happy Day
- I just LOVE layering and a lot of texturing. This card is filled with both! I started the bottom layer using the Stitched Basket Weave Cover Plate Die. I’ve shown some more samples of it below. Cut this out and adhere it to your card base using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive.
- Cut one of the largest Elegant Frames from white, one from mint green and one from light peach. We will use one of each for this card – put the rest away for two other cards.
- Put White Crafty Foam Tape on the peach and green layers which will adhere them together (DO NOT take the cover tape off the back of the foam tape yet or it will stick to the cutting plate). NOW run them through your die cutting machine using the Pinpoint Flower Cover Plate. You now have some very pretty texture on two of the frames.
- Add the white frame to these to pieces and adhere them to the card base over the Stitched Basket Weave Cover Plate Die.
5. Cut out one of the largest white Round Eyelet Circle Frames.
6. Using the Enchantingly Stamp & Die Combo, Black Hybrid Ink and STAMPWHEEL stamp the sentiment on the frame you just cut out.
7. Adhere this to the card base using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive.
8. Cut out the Majestic Heron Block Print Die from WHITE card stock.
9. I used my Copic Markers to color the layers. It’s so fast and so much easier than using colored card stock but you certainly could use colored card stock if you decide that is quicker for you.
10. I used both the Precision Glue and Thin White Foam Squares to put him together. I also used the Jewel Picker to pick up my pieces to put him together.
11. To attach him to the card base, I used the Precision Glue, Thin White Foam Squares and Micro White Foam Squares .
12. Take some Autumn Fairy Jewels and color them with your B29 Copic Marker so they match your bird. YES I said color the Autumn Fairy Jewels with Copic Markers to have them match your piece. I used the clear ones that are on the sheet of jewels. COOL!!!!!
13. Add some Fairy Gem Stones as well. Tah Dah!!! Isn’t this gorgeous~
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
