Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you some of our brand new products in the shop. I wanted to make some special cards for some special friends and this is what I came up with. I love the softness of these cards. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today here…

I used YR0000 and YR00
I like to make a bunch of cards that are the same and I just don’t put a sentiment on it. So for this one I made 10 of them and added “for you” on some and “thank you” on others. I started with the Chrysanthemum Field Embossing Folder. Before I ran it through my machine, I lightly spritzed one side with our Mini Mister. By misting it before you put it through the machine, it will help mold the design into your paper. I love what this does to add depth to your layer. Let this layer dry as you assemble the other parts of the card.
This Luxe Peony die is brand new in our shop. I added some color to the layers with our Copic Markers (I used I used YR0000 and YR00). It gives it just a hint of color. I created the flower layers using our Deluxe Adhesive.
Putting the color on before you create the flower is so much easier.
Here is one of the sentiments I put on my card today – For You Posh Script.
We have so many Posh Script sentiments in our shop. Just put POSH SCRIPT in the search box and you will find many of them. Why are the so easy to use? Because you have the background as a second die. We also have other sets that are not called posh script that have this background (the Thank You above is an example of one of them). Here are two sets of sentiments that have the background – perfect for cardmaking…

Add your embossed layer with our EZ Grand Dispenser.
Add your sentiment first to help position the card scene. Next add the leaves and finally your flower.
