September 18, 2025. Today Teaspoon of Fun is so excited to bring to you some of our new items we have in the shop. You’ll see a lot of these two little critters in upcoming posts and for the holidays. There is a lot of texture I added to the card. I just love texture. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Double Stitched Elongated Ovals
Tufted Elegance Embossing Folder
Corner Shoppe Wooden Card Combo
Colors I used:
Flowers & Leaves – RV23, RV25, Y35, G20, G21, G24
Goose – C1, C3, C9
Y21, Y23, Y26
BG11
YR12, YR14, E99
Ro0, R11, R32
Mouse – C1, C3, C5, C9
Y21, Y23, Y26
BG11, BG15, BG72
R00, R11, RV32
So much texture … I LOVE texture. For the bottom layer I used one of my new favorites called Tufted Elegance Embossing Folder. After you emboss this, cut it down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere it to the card base using the Precision Glue Press. Cut a Double Stitched Elongated Oval and run it through the die cutting machine using the Linked Embossing Folder. Adhere that to the card base using Thin White Foam Squares
Cut out the goose from Happy Goose and pick which hat you want her to wear. I colored the legs, beak and hat with Copic Markers. Also shade in some grays at the bottom of the goose for shadows. Put her together using the Precision Glue Press and add the flowers from the Corner Shoppe Wooden Card Combo (I colored those with Copic Markers also). Add her to the card base using Thin White Foam Squares.
Cut out the mouse from Milo Mouse. For this card I cut off his top “mask” but you could certainly leave it on. I colored this adorable cutie with Copic Markers. Put him together using the Precision Glue Press . Add him to the card base using Regular White Foam squares. This will make him raise a little higher than the goose.
IMPORTANT: You could certainly cut these little cuties from colored card stock if you’d like. They are so adorable either way but you KNOW how much I LOVE my Copics :0).
Cut out some foliage from the Corner Shoppe Wooden Card Combo (I colored these with Copic Markers). Add these to the card base using the Precision Glue Press.
Let’s add the sentiment from a very popular set called Friend Builder Stamp Set. We have such great sentiments in the shop make sure you peruse through them. I used the Stampwheel and Black Hybrid Ink to capture this sentiment. Adhere it to the card base using White 3D Foam Strips.
I added a few Mini Pearls to the top and one in each one of the flowers. So SWEET!
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
