I’m Not Lion Sneaky Peek Slider

July 20, 2023. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you another in our series of Sneaky Peek Slider cards! I can’t stop making them!!! Today I’m using the set called Friend Like Ewe. It’s put together just like our Yeti card so make sure you watch the video. All products used can be found in our Teaspoon Of Fun Paper Crafting Shop. Let’s take a look at what I have for you today …
Stampwheel Center Alignment Guides
Slimline ATC Windows Nesting Dies Set
Distress Oxide Ink (I used Peacock Feathers)
Colors I used:
Lion
Eyes – Boo
Mane & Tail – E11, E15, E18, E29
Body – Y11, Y15, Y17
Lamb & Fence – C0, C1, C3, C5, C7
Ears & Nose – RV10, RV14
Eyes – Boo
Grass – YG13, G20, G99
Flower – BV31, BV13, BV08, Y08, Y17
Sky – BG0000
I used the Wonky Stitches Rectangles for this card and cut it out of our Lemon Lime Sparkle Paper. I love all the details in this die. The sentiments are part of the set. I used the Slimline Clouds, Distress Oxide Ink (Peacock Feathers) and Blending Brushes to make the clouds.
I stamped all the characters using our STAMPWHEEL, Stampwheel Sticky Mat, the Stampwheel Center Alignment Guides and our Black Hybrid Ink. I colored these cuties with our Copic Markers (colors are listed above). I put a layer of Crystal Glaze on their noses to make them shine! They’re so stinken cute!
Now let’s take a look at the inside. Open…..open….open…see him peaking?

and BOOM…..there you are!!!!
The square was cut using our Stitched Nesting Squares.
“Ewe make me happy” is also part of the Friend Like Ewe Stamp Set. I used the Slimline ATC Windows Nesting Dies Set for the sentiment.

Directions:
CUT using a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock:
5 1/4″ x 11 1/2″ and score at 3 1/2″ and 7 1/2″
5 1/4″ x 7″ and score at 3 1/2″. Cut out the notches as described in the video – 5/8″ x 2 3/4″ WATCH THE VIDEO!!!!!
5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ (a true quarter sheet of cards stock) in a coordinating color for the base.
Fold on your creases using your Crease Tool (it’s very important to get good creases).
THE DIRECTIONS SHOW THE CUTE LITTLE YETI BUT YOU WILL SUBSTITUTE THE LION & LAMB FOR THE YETI !!!!
On the 5 1/4″ x 11 1/2″ piece, on the smaller of the three panels, cut out your window. For this one I used one of the squares from the Stitched Nesting Squares.
This is what it looks like. Use your STAMPWHEEL to stamp the sentiment under the window.
Using your STAMPWHEEL, stamp your image that will peeking out of the window on the 5 1/4″ x 7″ card piece between the notches.
Color it. You are getting it all done before you put it together.
Adhere the top panel to the bottom base (WATCH THE VIDEO) and lift up the window to make sure it lines up.
Decorate the outside and you are done! It’s such a cute card!
