Haunted Globe Gargoyle Combo
Hidy Ho Stampers,
October 21, 2022. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you some MORE spooky Halloween fun – TWO VERSIONS with the same stamp set! As you know Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday!!! I put so much love and laughter into these cards…so stinken cute! Let me know what you think. Remember… “I love this time of the year!” Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
(I used Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade and Villainous Potion)
Iridescent White Glitter Paper
Heart Scrolls Embossing Folder
(I used Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade and Villainous Potion)
So for the FIRST card here is how I created it……
I cut out all the pieces I needed for this card from the Haunted Globe Combo. This combo is FILLED with dies that are NOT just for Halloween projects (stay tuned)! I love the Boo Posh Script sentiment because it has the layered background. We have several “posh” sets in the shop (make sure you check them all out). For the bottom layer I used Gunmetal Mirror Paper and for the top layer I used the black sheet from the Black Diamond Sparkle Paper! I also used my Distress Oxide Ink (Black Soot) and my Blending Brushes to distress the bricks on the Brickwork Embossing Folder . Just rub some color over the bricks.
These little cuties are INCLUDED in the Haunted Globe Combo.
I told you…this set is JAMMED packed with dies!
A few tools you may want to have on hand are the Mini Mister to spritz your card stock before you put it through your machine when embossing 3D embossing folders; the Retractable Pick to get out all those pesky pieces that may want to stay in your cutout. Then Tweezers to help you lay your layers down neatly and accurately. These really are a must for your stamping tools.
I burnished color with my Distress Oxide Ink (Black Soot) and my Blending Brushes to distress the bricks on the Brickwork Embossing Folder . Just rub some color over the bricks. Attach this layer to the card base with EZ Runner Grand Dispenser. Then I took the back layer (the solid layer) of the globe and burnished the rest of the colors –Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade and Villainous Potion. To attach this layer to the bricks, I used my Thin Black Foam Squares.
For the next tree layer I cut it out and attached it with our Thin Black Foam Squares.
The haunted house layer was cut from gray card stock and burnished with Distress Oxide Ink (Black Soot) and my Blending Brushes. It just gave it that weathered look.
The top layer was cut from the black sheet from the Black Diamond Sparkle Paper . It’s gorgeous and that sparkle just adds so much to the “spookies”.
The pumpkins came from this set (I told you this set is JAM PACKED with dies). I colored with my Copic Markers. Not a lot of coloring on this creation. You can even cut out the pumpkins from orange paper if you didn’t want to color. The ghosts are cut from our Iridescent White Glitter Paper.
The Boo Posh Script sentiment has the layered background. We have several “posh” sets in the shop (make sure you check them all out). For the bottom layer I used Gunmetal Mirror Paper and for the top layer I used the black sheet from the Black Diamond Sparkle Paper.

The SECOND card here is just as adorable……
The gates are closed in this picture….
Heart Scrolls Embossing Folder
(I used Black Soot, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade and Villainous Potion)
Here I opened the gates and added Gargoyle and Friends!
This card was done the same way as the first one with a different top layer and I added a little critter on the inside. This set is so versatile! You can add anything annnnnnd you can make this an ornament!
The background is from the Heart Scrolls Embossing Folder. It looked perfect for this card.
I added Wink of Stella and Crystal Glaze to the candles and teeth!
This combo is just PACKED with dies and lots of fun. I can see using the gate for a religious card or for a wedding card! There are bats and pumpkins and ghosts and trees. SO MUCH!!!! And the dome nesting dies can be used for ANY card! I hope you give it a chance!
Look at all those dies included in this combo!

Great projects. Really love the first one with that brick. It looks like there is texture paste on it. You did a fabulous job. The second card is cute. Love that he’s behind the gate. Will have to place an order. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you so much Lissette. You are so sweet! http://www.TeaspoonOfFun.com/
