Duck Dynasty meets Stampin’ Up! with Deb Valder

Hidy Ho Stampers and Duck Lovers,

I'm trying to figure out if my style of stamping is so over the spectrum that they can call  me nuts!  :0)  Today's card is dedicated to all you that LOVE Duck Dynasty (I've never seen an episode but I have seen them on the talk shows and they are so stinken funny)!.  Their style is a little like mine from elegant (wives represented) to the husbands (a little wacky)!  :0)  So today;s card is a little wacky and dedicated to all of you that LOVE Duck Dynasty.

Duck Dynasty

Duck Dynasty meets Halloween…

Wetlands Best of Halloween

The words are done in camouflage –

I quack myself up sometimes!

The technique used here is basic masking.  I stamped the hat first with Black Stazon and then again on a scrap piece of paper.  I cut the paper hat out and placed it over the the stamped image.  Then I used my markers to color the Wetlands image and stamped that over the "masked"  hat.  Take off the "paper" hat and you have only part of the duck's head showing.

To camouflage the words, I just used another technique called "Thumping" and drizzled color onto the "Trick or Treat" stamp.  After you color or "camouflage" it, huff on it and stamp onto your cardstock.

To finish it off I used Two-Way Glue and our new Black Glitter to put on the hat.  Cute right?!  Would love to  hear what you  have to say about this card.

Hope you liked my post.  And remember for all orders placed in my online store (www.stampladee.stampinup.net) between  now and September 30th, you will have your name entered into a drawing for the stamp set "Chalk Talk" and a package of the Silver Glimmer Paper but you MUST use the Hostess Code SK476326 and the order needs to be at least $35.  Very important!

I hope you enjoyed todays post, please stop by often and remember to follow me on Pinterest, Facebook (my business page) and my YouTube Channel so you don't miss a thing!  Have a super day!
