I've been having so much fun playing with these new flowers made from paper. When I was in Phoenix at our Leadership Conference, Jan McClurg demonstrated how to make these. They were so cute I copied her card then made my own! They are so easy and so much fun. I had a workshop on Saturday with Arlene and all her friends. This is one of the cards we made. They loved it.
This card is full of new product. The pink paper is already embossed (can you see it glisten?). It is called Sending Love Specialty paper found on page 13 of the Occasions Mini catalog. The Sweet Pea Stitched Felt flowers can also be found in the Mini Catalog on page 32. I used our brand new 5/8" Satin Ribbon found on page 27. It's hard to see the embossed white background. I used the Background #1 Texturz plate (page 195). The sentiment is free from the Sale-a-Bration Mini, it's called Whimsical Words on page 8.
And here is mine…
This card uses the new Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder found on page 35 of the Occasions Mini Catalog. It also uses the the leaf from the new Sweetheart stamp set found by clicking on the side bar on my blog (#120415 wood mounted or 120780 clear mounted). The Summer Sun Corduroy Button can be found on page 181 of the Idea Book and Catalog. I also used Mellow Moss 1/4 Grosgrain ribbon found on page 183 and the Eyelet Border Punch found on page 186. Book a workshop and we can make this card with all your friends.
Stay tuned, tomorrow I'm going to show you a DIFFERENT paper flower! Can't get enough of them…I hope you enjoy your evening.
