Hidey Ho Stampers,
July 10, 2025. It is HOT HOT HOT!!!!! Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you an adorable set of cards that I colored using Copics. Before I show you what we have, just a reminder to make sure you check out the SALE ROOM we are adding new items all the time.
Head on over to Teaspoon of Fun for all your paper crafting needs
and share this site with your friends!
Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Look at these two little cuites!
Colors I used
Saltwater Taffy and Festive Berries
I started by cutting out the top layer with the amazing Zig Zag Stackers. I just love this set of nesting dies. Unique and a must-have.
Next let’s get the Oops Word and Shadow Die out and cut the background of this sentiment from the black layer before adding it to our card base (I LOVE SAVING PAPER!!!!). Cut the “oops” from white card stock. Using your delicious Distress Oxide Ink and Blending Brushes let’s color. I used Festive Berries for the top then fanned it down with Saltwater Taffy. These two colors are PERFECT together! And we offer Distress Oxide Ink Pads at a discount. Make sure you pick up the re-inker also. Starting at the top of the “ooops”, burnish your two colors onto the sentiment going from dark to light by softening the pressure of your strokes. Then add the same colors to your background starting in the center being the darkest and lightening your stroke as you move out – soft soft soft. Add the black card stock layer (with the “oops” background cut out) to your card base, then add the zig zag layer using the EZ Grand Tape Runner.
The “oops” is layered. The black layer is glued down to the layer using the Precision Glue Press. Also using the Precision Glue Press add the SECOND “O” and the “S”. Now let’s go back and use the White Thin Foam Squares and add the FIRST “O”, the “P” and the exclamation mark. It’s so stinken cute!
Stamp the little girl from Ducky and the ice cream cone from Mini Oddball with One Scoop using the Stampwheel and Black Hybrid Ink Pad. Color with Copic Markers. Yes, these need to be fussy cut but it’s very fast. Add the cutie patootie girl with White Regular Foam Squares. Add the cone with the Precision Glue Press and the plop of ice cream with the White Micro Foam Squares.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
