The Famous Honey Pot

July 14, 2025. Today Teaspoon Of Fun is bringing you a sweet slimline honey pot card that I colored using Copics. I love black and white and just a little added color. How about you? Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Colors I used: Wild Honey and Brushed Corduroy
Colors I used:
Honey Pot: E31, E37, E57
Flowers: E37, Y35, YR04, Y08, C3
Stems: YG13, YG67
Butterfly: Y08, Y13, Y17, YR04, YR07, YR18, 110
For this card let’s start with the card base. I used one of our Slimline Card Bases and added a layer of black for the base color (3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″). I adhered it with our EZ Grand Tape Dispenser. The next layer is a white card layer that measures 2 1/2″ x 8″ also adhered with our EZ Grand Tape Dispenser.
Next cut out the Honey Pot Fancy Die and the dipper from a light brown piece of cardstock. To give this dimension color the sides with the Copic Markers (colors listed above). Adhere them to the bottom of the card with the Black Regular Foam Squares.
Cut out the word “honey” THREE times that is included in the Honey Pot Fancy Die Set. Adhere them together with our Deluxe Adhesive. Now using your Distress Oxide Ink (Colors I used: Wild Honey and Brushed Corduroy) and our Blending Brushes, burnish on the color into the word. Adhere to the card with Deluxe Adhesive.
Next cut out and color with our Copic Markers the flowers from the Bees and Flowers Fancy Die set. Add them to the pot with our White Regular Foam Squares.
Cut out the butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. Put the cutout onto the sticky mat in the STAMPWHEEL THEN stamp the butterfly with our Black Hybrid Ink. I colored it with our Copic Markers (colors listed above). To finish it off add some Fairy Drops. I used the Jewel Picker to help pick them up.
Add your card to one of our Slimline Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
