July 2, 2026. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a card to help celebrate summer! We love to barbecue here!! I have a close friend that has a birthday at the end of the month…I KNOW he will love this! It’s so cute. This is such a fun card! Let’s take a look at what I did to create it.

Bella and Barney Have a Barbecue
Primitive Homespun 6 x 6 Paper Pack
#05 White Gel Pen (Fine Point) or #08 White Gel Pen (Medium Point)
Micron Archival Ink Fine Tip Black Pen
Copic Markers (colors are listed below)
Barbecue on the 4th Of July
- Stamp the Bella and Barney Have a Barbecue image on a piece of white card stock
- Color with Copic Markers.
Colors I used for this card are:
Skin – E50, E51, E11, E13
Hair – Y21, YR24, YR27, E37
Man’s Pants – B91, B95, B99
Man’s Shirt -YG12, YG17, G28
Hat & Apron – C1, C3, Boo
Gloves – R27, R29, R39, R59
Girl’s Shirt – Y06, YR17, YR24
Girl’s Pants – BG11, BG32, BG49
Grill – R27, R29, R39, R59
Wheels – R29, R59, C0, C5, C7
Grates – C0, C1, C5, C7
Hamburgers/Hot Dogs – YR21, YR24, YR27, E09
Grass – YG13, YG17, G28
3. Cut out the Primitive Homespun 6 x 6 Paper Pack with the Double Stitched Rectangles Die.
4. Adhere the Primitive Homespun 6 x 6 Paper Pack to one of the A2 White Card Bases using the EZ Grand Runner.
5. Cut the colored image out with the Double Stitched Rectangles Die and attach it to the card base and Primitive Homespun 6 x 6 Paper Pack using the Crafty White Foam Tape.
6. Stamp and cut out the Sunshine & Smiles Sentiments. This set comes with matching dies! I love the sentiments and I love that you can cut them out with no effort.
7. I colored it with Copic Markers and popped it up with Regular White Foam Squares.
8. I added some Crystal Glaze to the drum of the grill to make is shiny and chubby ;0)
9. I added some #05 White Gel Pen (Fine Point) or #08 White Gel Pen (Medium Point) and Micron Archival Ink Fine Tip Black Pen for the details.
10. I also added some Crystal Glaze to her glasses to give them the look of real glass. So cute!
Voilà! How fun is that!!!!
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
