February 16, 2026. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you really sweet card for your gift giving. It can be a great card for any occasion. Sweet and fun to make. One of the newest dies in the shop called Burst Die Set was used for the frame. It’s so pretty.

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Hybrid Ink– I used Black
I used:
B91, B95, B99
R11, R27, R39, R89
E35, E41, E42
YR12
Watercolor Well Flower Palette or Watercolor Well Paw Palette
3D Foam Strips – White (we also have black)
A Special Gift For You
- Start this card by cutting one Tulip Love Cover Plate in a bright red card stock. I did this because the gal I’m sending this to LOVES red! I know it may look like I did it for Valentine’s Day but that’s not what it was for. This card and this background can be used for any occasion. LOVE them!
2. Stamp the owl from The Owl and the Heart stamp set using Watercolor Paper, Black Hybrid Ink and the StampWheel.
3. Color him with Copic Sketch Markers.
4. Wash the background using Altenew Watercolor Pans, either the Watercolor Well Flower Palette or Watercolor Well Paw Palette, Silicone Dispenser and the 1″ Square Watercolor Brush. Just wash the color in.
5. If you’ve made any mistakes just take your Sand Eraser and erase the problem.
6. Now it’s time to cut out the frame using the BRAND NEW Burst Die Set. I just love this new set. So many people will look at it and think it’s for Halloween. Even though it could be used for Halloween, that is only one occasion for it’s use. Look how beautiful it is.
7. Attach the outside burst first using 3D Foam Strips – White .
8. Next you’ll add the insert (with the owl stamped on it) to the inside using Thin White Foam Squares. This will give your piece some dimension. It’s so pretty.
9. Stamp the sentiment from the The Owl and the Heart.
10. Cut it out using the NEW Quick Strips 2 Die Set.
11. Add some little white dots on the bow using the #08 White Gel Pen. To add a little bling to the card, I added some Autumn Fairy Jewels to the bird and to the sentiment.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
