Mosaic Madness meets Christmas with Deb Valder

All Posts

28 Sep

Hidy Ho Stampers,

First I wanted to thank each and everyone of you who asked about my mom or sent her cards, that was so sweet.  She has been moved to rehab and should be there for a week or two.  It was a little hard today as she seemed a little depressed.  She's like me (or am I like her?)…there's no keeping us down, so to be put in a chair and told you can't go anywhere without a nurse is HARD!!  :0) but I think she is going to be okay, phew!!!!

Anyway, there was a little problem with the server this morning so no post until now.  I hope I didn't miss any of you!  :0)  Anyway another in my Christmas Card Collection Series.  This is a fast fun one and can be done in all different colors.  So herrrrrre we go:

Christmas Mosaic Madness

So here's one done in Night of Navy and

one done in Cherry Cobbler with a hint of Basic Black

It's hard to tell where the dimension is so check out the next few pictures.

Christmas Mosaic Madness 2

Here's a closeup of the Night of Navy card.

Christmas Mosaic Madness 3

and here is the dimension.

Do you see that the "ornament" is laid inside of the bulb?

Supplies:

Stamps:  Mosaic Madness Bundle; Petite Pairs

Ink:  Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler or Night of Navy

Card Stock:  Whisper White and Basic Black or Whisper White and Night of Navy

Accessories:  Mosaic Madness Bundle (stamp set and punch for 15% off each piece); 1/8" Silver Ribbon; Circle Collection Framelits (10 pieces in the set)

If you are going to buy the Mosaic Madness stamp set, you really need to purchase the bundle #132734 wood mount or #132733 clear mount which includes the punch.  You get both pieces for 15% off.  It's a great deal.  Here's my online store: www.stampladee.stampinup.net.

Okay so how did she do that you are asking :0)!  Stamp the image directly on your card layer (mine is 3 3/4" x 5").  Then take a piece of Whisper White Card Stock and punch out a Mosaic Madness piece (you can use the punched out piece for something else so set that aside and we will be using the "negative" of the punch).  Take that and a piece of Night of Navy and using our Circle Collections Framelits, cut out the white piece with the 1 1/2 circle and the night of navy with the 1 7/8" piece.  Glue these two together and "repunch" out the ornament from the Night of Navy.  This is popped over the image you stamped…EASY PEESY!!!!

Hope you liked my post.  And remember for all orders placed in my online store (www.stampladee.stampinup.net) between  now and September 30th, you will have your name entered into a drawing for the stamp set "Chalk Talk" and a package of the Silver Glimmer Paper but you MUST use the Hostess Code SK476326 and the order needs to be at least $35.  Very important!

I hope you enjoyed todays post, please stop by often and remember to follow me on Pinterest, Facebook (my business page) and my YouTube Channel so you don't miss a thing!  Have a super day!

I recently received this bundle and have been watching for various ways to use it. This is striking. Thanks so much for the detailed photos showing the dimensional aspect.
