Best of Flower Series with Deb Valder

Hidy Ho Stampers,

Just back from our family trip to Rapid City, South Dakota!  I miss my little baby so much already!  :0(  Being a Nana is hard when you don't live close by!  Long distance hugs and kisses can be a challenge!

Izzy

look at those little fingers and little toes!  Isn't she so perfect!

I miss you sweetie and I KNOW you miss your Nana!

So today's card is super simple and super fast because I need to go do laundry (it's fun to go on vacation but the clean up…not so much!)

Best of Flowers

Here is a card done with one of the BEST of SERIES stamp sets that Stampin' Up! has realeased this year.  This one is from the month of March and will be available until March 2014.  I use this one a LOT!

Directions and Supplies:

SUPPLIES:

Stamp Sets:  #133342 Best of Flowers; and my FAVORITE saying set A Dozen Thoughts #131056 wood Mount or #131059 Clear Mount

Ink:  Night of Navy

Card Stock:  Whisper White and Night of Navy

Accessories:  #114319 5/8" organza ribbon and Night of Navy and Old Olive Stampin' Markers

DIRECTIONS:

It's all about the layers in this card.

Cardbase:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

First layer of Night of Navy 4" x 5 1/4"

First layer of Whisper White 3 3/4" x 5"

Top layer of Night of Navy 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Top layer of Whisper White 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

Accent piece Night of Navy:  1" x 3 1/4"

Using your markers, color on your stamp with the Night of Navy marker for the Flower and Old Olive marker for the stem (before stamping make sure you HUFF on your stamp to remoisten it – yes I said HUFF!) then stamp your image.  Add the sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts.

Take a 4" piece of Organza Ribbon and wrap it around your Night of Navy Accent piece.  Adhere all your layers together with snail.

BOW MAKING TUTORIAL –

The last piece to make is your bow.  Take a 6" piece of ribbon and adhere the ends together to form a circle.  Then take a 2" piece of ribbon and wrap that around the middle to form the bow center.  Add that to the card and YOU ARE DONE!!!  wah lah!!!!

I hope you enjoyed my post and remember to PIN my card to Pinterest (hover over the card and just click ) and subscribe to my Pinterest Boards, like me on my business facebook page, MAKE SURE you subscribe to my YouTube Channel and please don't forget to subscribe to THIS blog so you don't miss a thing I'm bringing your way.  I'm going to start my FULL SWING Holiday cards soon….so don't miss it!  Hope your day is a fantastic one.
