Hidy Ho Stampers,
Just wanted to show you really quick one of the cards we will be making at my Melon Mambo Party…
Isn't this pretty, it's a bookmark!
Gotta run! Have a great day.
Just For Women Event
Hidy Ho Stampers,
It's been a busy week and there is still more to come. I just LOVE it!!! Busy Busy Busy….well tonight was the Just For Women's Event that is put on by Saratoga Hospital. Here are a few pictures.
Here is my table after we got all set up. It was held at the Saratoga City Center. What a beautiful new building.
Close up of my display – Scrapbook and My Digital Studio Display, in the back are some recent cards we've been doing in classes, clubs and workshops.
On the other side, we have the pins that I make with our Big Shot.
I was so excited that my daughter Kate got to help me this year. She helped me prep all day and then we both had a blast meeting people at the event. She's so good with the people.
We eat from the time we get there until we leave. Here are the appetizers -mmmmmm!
And here is our guest speaker – Christine Holton Cashen – she was soooooooo funny! We all loved her.
and then we finished off the evening with door prizes and DESSERTS – DOUBLE MMMMMMMMMM!
The whole evening was absolutely fun. We shared some quality time with JUST WOMEN!
Thank you for stopping by.
Contest Huge Hit
Hidy Ho Stampers,
We had another team get together on Sunday and what fun we had. My Challenge to them this month was to create something three dimensional that had to do with Spring. Here is one of the entries…
This is the cutest basket made from the Petal Cone Die in the Occasions Mini Catalog. The chics are made from the Big Shot Scallop Circle Dies. Isn't this the cutest. It was submitted by Barb Stomieroski.
Here is a view of the detail under the basket.
And here's a closeup of the chick! The feathers just make him even more adorable than he already was…Barb was telling us the funny story of where the feathers came from. Too cute. Okay now look at those eggs. Each one was punched out and put in the styrofoam egg with pins. Lots of work but so worth it. Thank you Barb for your entry.
Ruth Baxter is our Challenge Coordinator and this is the voting registration she came up with…oh how organized!!! THANK YOU RUTH!
Okay Ms. Karen do you really think you can pull that off as your entry?? That's the voting bucket! You are too cute.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Come back tomorrow for more entries! Wait until you see the winner!
Can’t Get Enough
of that Petal Cone Die! :0)
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Just like the title says…"Can't Get Enough…..of that Petal Cone Die"! I just love it. It is in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
This is made with the new Petal Cone Die and the Easter Blossoms Stamp Set. I received this as a gift from my very good friend Cathy Gaspard. She is so talented and I can't wait until she comes to my Team Meeting. We get together when we volunteer at Ronald McDonald House. I so appreciate her work. She's great. Thank you Cathy for my gift, I LOVE it.
Here is one that is VERY similar to Cathy's but this one was done by Pam Morgan and was demonstrated on stage. I love the button.
And this was demonstrated by one of my teammates Stacie Roussin. She used the actual cone!
Hope you enjoyed my post…see you tomorrow.
The Whistling Tea Kettle
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Before I start, if you get my blog streamed into your email, you probably didn't get to see the video I did on the Double Swing card. If you didn't, just go directly to my blog or to YouTube or to Stampin' Connections and you can see how to make the card. I think it's pretty easy to follow.
I have another Stamp Camp Door Prize. I don't think I showed this one. It was one of the most sought after that day.
Aren't they gorgeous.
Then neatly packaged into this portfolio.
After Stamp Camp, one of the perks (well I think it's a perk…I think my team thinks it's a perk) anyway, I take whoever worked and wants to go out…I take them to the Whistling Tea Kettle for lunch on me. It's become tradition now…we all love The Whistling Tea Kettle in Ballston Spa. It looks like the set of "Friends". So stinken cute. We all ordered "The Tower". It comes with soup or salad, then the main course and it is topped off with a delicious dessert – mmmmmm. Look at those three behind the tower.
We all had something different for dessert and they all looked good.
mmmmmmmm!
This was mine! It was OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Hope you enjoyed my post…go have a sweet something…your day gets so much better after you eat it!

And here is another magnificent card holder. It too was filled with cards.

Upcoming events
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I've got a lot of things up and coming…here is what I'm doing for my Continuing Education classes this upcoming week.
It's a portfolio with cards. If you'd like to take the class, contact either Saratoga, Burnt Hills, Scotia or Galway School District to sign up for the class.
I also do a punchbook class each month. Attendees have a "book of reference" for future projects. You can join anytime.
This is one of the projects we are doing in April at Big Shot Class. It's another class that I teach each month. You learn how to use your Big Shot dies in different ways. I made 80 of these boxes for the Hartford Regional for my teammates.
I used all the Brights collection of papers and buttons. The colors were so striking.
Supplies used: The Petal Cone Die; the Vintage Wallpaper folder and the Fun Flowers Die. They were a big hit and filled with M & M's.
Here's a top view.
Thank you for stopping by.
Stamp Camp
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I recently held a Stamp Camp for my teammates and customers. Each teammate that participates has to bring a handstamped gift for a doorprize. I am always blown away by the things they come up with. Here is a sample of what they brought.
This is the front view of this wall hanging it was handstamped by Anne.
Here is the reverse side. The frames rotate. She purchased the frame at Target. Isn't it gorgeous.
and here is the frame that Deb did. She is the one that taught us how to do the flowers.
I will show you more tomorrow. It makes me want to be a customer coming to Stamp Camp so I can enter the raffle!
Thank you for stopping by.
WOW Demonstrations!
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I have so much to share with you I don't know where to start…okay, my monthly Team Get Together…
I've incorporated demonstrations into my meeting and we had two EXTREMELY awesome demonstrations. Here is what Deb did…
This is one of the most beautiful cards I've ever seen…really! It is gorgeous.
A closeup of the flower.
She used the Owl punch, the Blossoms Petal Punch and the Scallop Circle Punch – Ohhhhh MY GOSH! Just stunning.
Then we had another awesome presentation by MaryRuth…
These two candles were embossed. Just beautiful. She demonstrated how to stamp on candles. Her presentation and focus on detail was fantastic. MaryRuth also gave us ways to safely burn them.
It was an awesome team meeting. If you'd like t be part of it and stamp with us once a month, contact me and we can talk! There is not only a special going on – the kit is only $148.95 (it has over $310 worth of product in it) - but you also get an EXTRA bundle of stamping supplies that is FREEEEEE (worth over $50) and if that wasn't enough….if you act fast, I attended the Regional Conference in Hartford Connecticut so you are also get a new stamp set that isn't even available yet – it will appear in the new Summer Mini Catalog. Here are a few samples:
The stamp set is filled with adorable stamps – Popcycles, flip flops, ice cream cones and more. So stinken cute!
