What’s Your Favorite Flavor

Hidy Ho Stampers

July 17, 2022.  Did you know….

In a 1984 proclamation, President Reagan delighted future generations of Americans by designating July as National Ice Cream Month. He further declared the third Sunday of the month to be National Ice Cream Day and called for all people of the United States to observe the day with “appropriate ceremonies and activities.”   So go have yourself an ice cream and enjoy it! :0)  Yiiiiipppppeeee….nobody has to ask me that twice!  :0)  We have several FUN stamp sets and dies to celebrate this occasion (and can be used for MANY occasions)!  Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…

This cute little card is PERFECT for National Ice Cream Day but it’s also good for so much more.  What about for someone that is having a bad day and you want to make them giggle!  This IS the card.  What about a birthday, thinking of you….well… you get it.  Mini Oddball with One Scoop is a great little set!   I paired it with the Oops Word and Shadow Die which also is PERFECT!!!! ha ha ha.  How could I NOT use the Sprinkles Scallops Rectangle Die for the frame.  What is ice cream without sprinkles?

I stamped the image and sentiment with our Black Hybrid Ink Pad and colored her with Copic Markers.   For her bow I added some cute little dots using our White Gel Pen.  Then to top it all off, I used Crystal Glaze  for the ice cream.  It made it raised and shiny!  Amazing!!!  HAPPY NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY!!!!!
