Tropical Shirt Card

All Posts

27 Jun

I wanted to get this posted before I forwarded it to your email…go to my blog to see the directions www.stampladee.com

This shirt card was the make and take I did for my Downline Get Together today.  Each month I hold a downline meeting or get together for the girls that sign up with me as a demonstrator.  We stamp and learn stamping techniques for four hours.  It is so much fun.  Today we had a Tropical Theme.  The girls really got into it.  They came dressed in tropical clothes, they brought tropical food and we stamped tropical cards.  It was a lot of fun.

The card above was a pattern I found online.  You take a regular card and cut off the top back at 1 1/4".  Then you slit the front on both sides 1 1/4" (this makes the collar).

Then we stamped it with the Tropical Party Stamp Set (#118515 Wood Mount or #120081 clear mount).  The colors are stamped with Old Olive, Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate Chip.  The buttons are made with the new circle punch from the Punch Pack (#118309) and the Bitty Buttons (#118761).  The stamp set, the buttons and the punch pack are all found in the Summer Mini Catalog.  They loved it.

Here's a closeup of the buttons attached to the shirt.

This card was only one of 6 we made today.  We also did a swap and went home with 23 different cards that others in the group made.  And if that wasn't enough fun, we also had two demonstrations by two VERY talented demonstrators.  One of the demonstrations was called "Ink and Iron" and the other demonstrtion was how to make jewlery from stamping supplies.  It was a spectacular meeting.  So much fun!

So what do you think?  Tropical?!

This is a tropical pin made out of cardstock and the Circles #2 Die.  It was made exactly like the flowers we made with the fleece.  Isn't it gorgeous??!!  Thank you Ruth.

Wanna know what the 10,000 in 2010 is all about?  You have to ask me!

Anyway, I wanted to share what a great time we had at our get together today.  It's not too late to take advantage of the $99 starter kit so you can come to the next stamping get together.  You only have three more days to jump in and get it.  The special is OVER after Wednesday.  So contact me at stampladee@aol.com and we can get you all hooked up with the new products!  Remember the kit is filled with NEW stuff from the NEW catalog…

and speaking of the new catalogs…I've been working hard to get them ready for you…they are not quite ready yet but they are getting there.

New Catalog preparation!  Lots and Lots and Lots of them!

Enoy your evening and thank you for stopping by!
