These Boots Were Made for Walking

July 26, 2023. Today Teaspoon of Fun is brining you these cute little rain boot. Did you know that these boots are also called “wellies,” “gummies” or “gumboots” (I just call them muck boots because I use them for my garden). They are are used to describe rain boots. The original high Wellington boot is still popular for people in places or jobs where there are puddles and floods. I have a yellow pair. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Fallen Leaves 3D Embossing Folder
Colors I used:
Y08, YR14, YR18
YG13, YG17, G85
E18, E79
C5
These Boots are made for walking. I cut them out of a Navy card stock then if you look closer, I used our Luma Bleed Proof as a “wash” and put in the shading details. It’s like using copics on white paper but in reverse! I used my Paw Palette or Flower Plaette and #4 Watercolor Brush to get that done. Then I used my White Gel Pen to add some cute little polka dots.
Remember to cut your boots out BEFORE you adhere this piece to the card layer (this is my middle layer on the card).
I used my Fallen Leaves 3D Embossing Folder for the background. I just love love love this folder!
Can you see the white wash on the boots for the shadows!
I used one of my hello dies called Brush Hello. I cut it three times adhered them together with our Deluxe Adhesive then colored it with matching Copic Markers so they matched the flowers. I then brushed on some Wink of Stella to make them sparkle like the middle of the daisies.
And for this card, I used our BEAUTIFUL Delightful Daisy flowers. I colored them with Copic Markers, cut them apart and filled my Boots. The boots have a slit in them so it works out perfect! I used Wink of Stella on the centers.
I used Regular White Foam Squares to pop the flowers and Crafty White Foam Tape to add the boots. Deluxe Adhesive was used to add the leaves and layer the hello sentiment. I hope you like this card.

I used the Boots Die Set and colored them with Copic Markers (to match my muck boots)! I colored the You Are So special with the same colors so they were a matching set! I used Wink of Stella to give it a little sparkle.
I used the Pinpoint Burst Plate for the background. I just love it!
I added some of our Bright Fairy Jewels to jazz it up!
Then I added some Crystal Glaze to the boots and the sentiment for that POP!
So stinken cute!
