Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a beautiful Thanksgiving card that debuts our new Happy Thanksgiving stamp. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Micron Archival Fine Tip Black Pen
Nuvo Black Detailed Embossing Powder
I used:
Leaves: YG01, YG13, YG 67
Sunflowers and Pumpkins: Y02, Y06, YR04, YR14, YR18, E13 and E18
I added one single leave from the Leaves Die
This Happy Thanksgiving stamp is new to the shop and SOOOOO beautiful. I did emboss it on this card using our Magic Anti-Static Brush Combo, WOW Ink Combo, Nuvo Black Detailed Embossing Powder and heated it with our Heat Tool.
So let’s take a look at how to do this…
First you want to stamp and emboss your Thanksgiving sentiment. I used my Make Art Stay-tion to align everything. This image space is the same on the top of the paper as it is on the bottom of the paper.
Aftere adding your sentiment, cover it up with our Sticky Note Tape making sure the entire sentiment is covered and that the empty space is the same on the top as it is on the bottom. That’s where the Make Art Stay-tion comes in so handy! It’s a great helper!
Stamp the Sweet Sunflowers on the top of the tape (overlapping the image onto the tape (this is the hidden mask) THEN turn your card half way around and stamp the image on the bottom (or what is NOW the top). You’ll see they are opposite images.
This is what it will look like now that we’ve removed the tape.
(I left the tape on it until after I colored it so the line stayed perfectly straight.
I used my Micron Archival Fine Tip Black Pen to add the lines for the pumpkin and leaf for a little “drop” in the image! I just LOVE the way this turned out! Thanksgiving is almost here! I can’t wait! There is so much to be thankful for!
