Don’t you just love sales! Today’s inspiration is a cute new set in the shop. You may think it’s just for Christmas but don’t let it fool you. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
So the sentiment from this set really says “On the lookout for you know who!” I just didn’t ink up the “know who” and it TOTALLY changed the entire stamp set. Instead of being for Christmas, I made it a “miss you” card. This is a combo so it comes with the dies. I raised the little critters with foam squares. I added the dots on the background with the Gelly Roll White Pen,
To get the background, I used my 1″ Watercolor Brush and Watercolor Pans to achieve this. Put your Sticky Note Tape Roll around the card base (leaving a border) and paint from side to side.
Lift up your tape and you have your watercolor border. GORGEOUS!!!!
The “I miss you” comes from A Fox’s Life.
To cover up the Christmas Stocking in the picture I made a little afghan (I just put three pieces of cord together). Clever right – ha ha ha! This card is to show you how to think out of the box and make your stamp sets go a little further. It’s a Christmas stamp set made for a different occasion!. I hope you like it!
