Stampin’ Up!’s Single Stamp – Christmas Star with Deb Valder

All Posts

25 Sep

Hidy Ho stampers,

First I wanted to thank you for all your well wishes for my mom, it means so much to me.  She is doing okay but there is a lot of pain.  There is a lot ahead of us but she made it through the operation and in good spirits.  Thank you thank you thank you!

Today's card is such a super simple, but WAY elegant Christmas card, super for the holidays.  I used one of Stampin' Up's single stamp collections called Christmas Star. It's only available for a short time.

Christmas Star

Do you see the difference between these two cards?

Christmas Star 2

I used two different layers.

One is Basic Gray and the other is our NEW Foil Sheets.

Which one do you like best.  My club members were torn –

half like the Basic Gray and half liked the foil sheet.

I really like the foil sheet.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Video tutorial here.  If you are watching this in your email, click here to view the video.  It's fun and fast!

Supplies:

Stamps:  # 134813 Christmas Star and Joy to the world #131796 wood mount or #131799 clear mount

Ink:  Versa Mark

Cardstock:  #100712 Brushed Silver and #132178 Silver Foil Sheets

Accessories:  Silver Embossing Powder and #132137 Silver  1/8" Ribbon

Have a super day and remember if you are placing an order with me from now until the end of September, use the current HOSTESS CODE.

So….if you are putting in an order, make sure you use the current Hostess Code so you can be entered into my bimonthly drawing.

1.  New Hostess Code for September 15-30th is SK476326

2.  Place your order from my online store (click here) it has to be $35 or more before shipping and tax.

3. Make sure you check the Clearance Rack and did you remember to add the magnetic plate, Envelope Punch Board and the September Special (the Butterfly Bundle)?

4.  The prize for the September 15th – 30th drawing is the stamp set "Chalk Talk" and a package of the Silver Glimmer Paper.

5.  For each $25 you order, you will receive Loyalty Points good towards a free stamp set (go to my blog button,  download the form and keep track of your Loyalty Points)  It's before shipping and tax and hostess dollars/half price items do not count!  (So if your order is $52 before the shipping and tax, you will receive 2 Loyalty Points)

6.  If your order is placed ONLINE in my ONLINE STORE, it's over $35, put in before September 30th and you USE  Hostess Code SK476326, I will enter your name in the bi-monthly drawing for a stamp set called "Chalk Talk".  So what are you waiting for.  Let's get our Christmas Supplies ordered.  If you do not use that code, your order cannot be entered into the drawing.  If you have any questions when you are putting your order in, just email or give me a call and I will walk you through it.
