I know you have all been wondering where I've been? Well I made it back safe and sound from the Syracuse Regional (a lot of nail biting but thanks to my driver, we did it and she was great, thank you Cheryl I hope the arm rest in your car does not still have the finger imprints in it, sorry about that).
I've been working on some SUPER classes and events coming up. I've been stamping and organizing and really doing things that I know you are going to LOVE! So stay tuned and continue to check my blog for events and be the first to hear about it! So far the Continuing Ed classes have had an outstanding attendance and they have LOVED the projects we have been doing. They can't wait for the Portfolio class…I gave them a sneak peak at it and now the classes are filling up (some of them are full, sorry ladies – check with Saratoga, Burnt Hills and/or Scotia to see if you can still get in).
Stamp Camp –
Our first 2010 Stamp Camp will be held on Saturday, March 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Christ Episcopal Church in Ballston Spa. The cost of the event will be $35 and the projects you will be making are outstanding. There will be doorprizes and displays as well as great techniques and ideas that you will be involved with. So look for the form on Monday, March 8th. It will be on a first come first received basis, meaning when I receive your form with payment and a self-addressed envelope, you will be on the list. I hope you can join us. It is always a lot of fun.
Regional Presentation –
As most of you know, the Syracuse Regional was cancelled due to weather. I thought I would show you what I was going to present at the event. You won't get my presentation and all the neat stuff I was going to tell you but you will at least get to see what I was going to show (and we all love pictures)! So here we go, enjoy.
All of the cards in this section are done with items from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The card on the right was one of the techniques I did in my Stamp Club last month. Clubs are so important to stampers as they learn each month techniques and how to use the products they purchase. If you are interested in joining a club or if you have a group of friends and want your own private club, please contact me.
This was my second presentation card. It us using the new Heart Treat Cups and the SweetHeart Stamp set. I just love both of these. And don't think they are only good for Valentine's Day…look at this card, it just screams….I LOVE YOU FRIEND!!! :0)
so here is one for St. Patrick's Day and one for Valentine's Day
And a thank you card! The one on the right was a pattern I took straight from the Stampin' Up! website. Oh yes, didn't I tell you there is a Stampin' Up! website. You would not believe the samples and videos and ideas you can get from there. You do have to be a demonstrator to access it and if you'd like to go that route, please contact me and you can begin immediately. Right now the Ultimate Stamping/Scrapbooking kit is is on sale!!! We all love sales…but hurry, it's only on sale for a little while longer.
Here is the Sweetheart stamp set without using the cups. It's so adorable.
This is another pattern that I copied directly fromt he Stampin' Up! website. Wait until you see the inside. You have your marshmallows and…
your hot chocolate. Great for this time of the year (especially if you live in Upstate New York). Look how clever it closes so you can get the marshmallows out without destroying the whole card. See how it is punched, you just lift that up and it exposes the fluffy marshmallows. Marshmallows and hot chocolate, they go hand and hand, like butter and Paula Dean! But here in New York, we have our hot chocolate with Marshmallow Fluff mmmmmmm.
Did you know that out west they do not have Marshmallow Fluff??? They don't know what a Fluffernutter is!!! I send Marshmallow Fluff to my son in Rapid City, South Dakota and to my brother in Bryan, TX all the time. You can't make a fluffernutter without peanut butter and marshmallow fluff and you just can't take the fluffernutter out of person after they've had one!!! :0)
And last but not least for right now are some samples using the round cups…yes they are STILL available along with the padded envelopes.
If you have any questions about the information presented, please contact me. Remember to sign up to be a demo and get all this when you want it! Online all the time! :0) Take care and enjoy your day.
