Sprinkles of Spring Daffodils
Hidy Ho Stampers,
March 7, 2022. Today’s card from Teaspoon of Fun is one of our first sprinkles of spring cards. I water colored this one with our Watercolor Pans AND our Watercolor Pencils. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Sprinkles Scallops Rectangle Dies
Distressed Oxide – Antique Linen
Nuvo Dark Shadows Watercolor Pencils
Nuvo Brilliantly Vibrant Watercolor Pencils
Let’s take a look at how I did it……
I started by stamping my outline image with Antique Linen Distressed Oxide ink onto my Watercolor Paper. Why? Why did I used Distress Oxide and why didn’t I use black. This is a form of “no-line coloring” meaning you don’t need to see the lines after you are done stamping and coloring. I like Distress Oxide because it blends with your watercolors and it’s a light color.
Then I started coloring with my Altenew Watercolor Pans. I used both my #4 Watercolor Brush and my #1 Watercolor Brush. I filled my Paw Palette (or Flower Palette) with water from my Silicone Dispenser. Pick up water from the well then add a little color at a time and blend it in. Use the #4 for most of the coloring and the #1 brush for the details.
I added more detail with my Nuvo Dark Shadows Watercolor Pencils and Nuvo Brilliantly Vibrant Watercolor Pencils )we have 5 different sets (all listed below in menu). It just adds a little detail to the flowers and stems.
I added a beautiful sentiment from a new set we have in the shop called Comforted Sentiments.
After I was done coloring and stamping, I cut the piece from our Sprinkles Scallops Rectangle Dies. This is also new in the shop. I’m in LOVE with it! Take a look at our Dazzling Daffodils and our Iris Elegance stamp sets. Water coloring is so much fun!
Thank you for letting me come into your home and spend a little crafty time with you! It’s so much fun sharing what is such a passion. Happy Crafting today!
Remember to share it, pin it, buy it and let us know what you think.
(((Hugs)))

Sprinkles of Spring Daffodils
We just added more products to our Sidewalk Sale and the One and Done Sale – check back daily as we add more new stuff often.
Before I sign off today I wanted to show you two items I use and are in the links below (in the menu). These are not conventional items but can help with your organization and presentation.
The first is the way I am now storing my slimline stamps/dies/embossing folders. They are just refrigerator storage container units. There is a specific size I use. click here for the direct link.
Seriously these work for your slimline stamp/die storage!!!!
Then the next thing I wanted to show you is how I stand my cards up to display and to photograph. This one is not from the refrigerator, it’s used by florists. It’s called a frog, I’m not sure why, it doesn’t look a thing like a frog but that’s what they call it. Click here to check it out.
Remember, it doesn’t have to be hard, it doesn’t have to be complicated, just fun and thoughtful. All products can be found in our Teaspoon of Fun Shoppe.
Thank you so much for your time today. It means a lot to us. If we can ever help with any of your stamping needs, please reach out, we are here to help and teach, that’s what we love to do. We love that you let us come into your home and spend a little crafty time with you! It’s so much fun sharing what is such a passion. Happy Crafting today!
