November 30, 2024. Today is SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY!! Small Business Saturday is an annual event that encourages people to shop at local businesses during the holiday season. Teaspoon of Fun is a small business that loves and cares about all who come to visit our Online Paper Crafting Shoppe! We love having you as part of our paper crafting family. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Gold & Pewter Glimmer Metallic Ink
Cut a piece of Silver Mirror Paper that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. Take this piece and cut the Jingle All The Way from the MIDDLE of the layer (set this layer aside until you are ready to put the card together) and adhere it to the 3 3/4″ x 5″ white layer using the Precision Glue Press.
Cut three Jingle Bell Dies from Red Sparkle Paper and adhere them to the same layer using White Regular Foam Squares. (I did add a little piece of silver cord to each one of them but not necessary). Next add some water to one of the wells in the Flower Palette or Paw Palette with the Silicone Dispenser and a little Gold & Pewter Glimmer Metallic Ink in one of the other wells. Blend some of the metallic ink (I used Pewter) with a very little water. Use the #6 Watercolor Brush and tap some of this color onto the left side of the card. When that’s dry, adhere this layer to the Silver Mirror Paper and that to the card base using the EZ Grand Tape Dispenser.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
