September 30, 2022. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a beautiful die that we have in the shop! It’s a layering die so it is easy, fast and absolutely gorgeous! Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today here…
Superfine Gold Embossing Powder
Seasonal Sketch is brand new to the shop and is a layering die. Each piece in the set comes with a background die and a layering die that lines up exactly with the background die. It’s GORGEOUS! It makes your cards fast but with so much elegance.
Our Antique Gold Rhinestones are what I used for the middle of the poinsettia and our Gold Mirror Paper for the overlay. I call this a very clean and simple card to put together.
This sentiment set Christmas Feeling Sentiments is filled with such warm sayings for your cards at the holiday season. Before you emboss, make sure you are using our Magic Anti-Static Brush Combo so your embossing powder stays ONLY on the WOW ink and not all over the rest of your piece getting it all speckled in places you don’t want it to be!
I used our Slimline Connected Rectangles and our Sweater Embossing Folder for the backgrounds. When I cut out the Slimline Connected Rectangles I always save the cutout pieces and use them for sayings on my cards. For this particular card I reinserted the cutout piece after embossing the sentiment. They fit perfectly. I used our 3D Foam Strips – White to attach and raise the Slimline Connected Rectangles, they were the perfect fit.
As I said above, this card can totally be transformed into an A2 (regular sized) card for those of you that have still not tried a slimline. I will bet your bottom dollar you would LOVE slimlines if you give them a try! I’m so hooked! (((hugs)))
