Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you such a simple watercolor card. I keep telling you watercoloring is one of the fastest/prettiest ways to add color to your cards. There are so many ways to watercolor. Please give it a try, I know you will fall in love with it.

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Distress Oxide Ink – I used Antique Linen
Hybrid Ink– I used Black
Watercolor Well Flower Palette or Watercolor Well Paw Palette
3D Foam Strips – White (we also have black)
Rural Winter Watercolor
- Start by stamping the image from Rural Winter Stamp on a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Watercolor Paper using the StampWheel and Distress Oxide Ink – I used Antique Linen.
2. Color using the Altenew Watercolor Pans, a Watercolor Well Flower Palette or Watercolor Well Paw Palette, Silicone Dispenser, 1″ Square Watercolor Brush (for the sky) and the #4 Watercolor Brush to color in the details of the scene.
3. Adhere this to the card base using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive.
4. Cut out the largest frame from the Elegant Frames Nesting Dies.
5. Using the two outside pieces, adhere them together using the White 3D Foam Strip (White Micro Foam Squares on the corners) and pop them onto the card base over the image you just watercolored.
6. Using the StampWheel and Black Hybrid Ink, stamp the sentiment from our Teaspoon Of Fun set called It’s About The Day Stamp Set.
7. Adhere this to the card using the EZ Grand Tape Runner.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
Watercoloring is an amazingly easy way to add color to your card. It’s fast and so much fun. Please give it a try. Using our Altenew Watercolor Pans is an amazingly economical way to start.

This is a close up of the Elegant Frames Nesting Dies . It’s one of my new favorites. It cuts and if you look at it, it also embosses the outer edge. It’s just gorgeous. I like to cut them in different colors and mix it up. GORGEOUS!
