Primitive Homespun Gratitude

November 3, 2024. Today Teaspoon of Fun is so excited to bring to you some new products we’ve added to the shop. This card is great for Fall giving – Birthday, Celebration, Note to a friend and so much more. They are complete quick card fronts for so many occasions. Seriously, they take minutes to make and they are so beautiful! I added a few embellishments for fun and wah lah….it was done! Make sure you check out all our new arrivals!!! Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Primitive Gratitude Quick Card Fronts
Primitive Homespun 6 x 6 Paper Pack
For this card I used the Primitive Gratitude Quick Card Fronts and Primitive Homespun 6 x 6 Paper Pack. These are so beautiful and lend themselves to this time of the year! Such a cozy card.
I cut out both layers with the Zig Zag Stackers Die Set and attached them to the vanilla card base. I felt it gave it that old homestead feeling. Use the Precision Glue Press to attach the bottom layer to the card base and use Black Crafty Foam Tape to attach the top layer.
I cut leaves for the bottom from the Oak Leaves Contour Dies Set. I used the Primitive Homespun 6 x 6 Paper Pack to coordinate with the bottom layer. It brought it all together. I attached them to the card using our Thin Black Foam Squares. I added a natural thread for the bow.
To finish off the card I added some Autumn Fairy Jewels using the Jewel Picker.
For this card I used the Primitive Gratitude Quick Card Fronts. These card fronts are fast and oh so pretty! I’ve shown you in previous posts some of the other ones we carry. I like to embellish them and make them my own!
For this card I used the Stitched Frames die set. Take one of the card fronts and evenly lay the second largest Stitched Frame Die onto it then cut it out. Now you have the design on the outside of the frame. Cut the piece you have left (the one with the girls on the front) down to 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ using our Tim Holtz Precision Trimmer. Pop up the frame onto your colored card base with our Black Crafty Foam Tape and use the EZ Grand Tape Dispenser to attach the inside piece. You now have the picture framed.
I cut leaves and acorns for the bottom from the Oak Leaves Contour Dies Set. I attached them to the card using our Thin Black Foam Squares and the Precision Glue Press. I added a natural thread for the bow.
To finish off the card I added some Autumn Fairy Jewels using the Jewel Picker.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
