For the layer I used a Mint Julip card stock. I cut it out with the Double Stitched Rectangles and the Pinpoint Leaf Plate. I just love lots of texture on my cards. I added this to the card base using the EZ Grand Tape Runner.
Use your StampWheel and Distress Oxide Ink (I used Hickory Smoke) to stamp the outline of the new Posted Stamp and Die Combo. After you’ve stamped the outline to the postage stamp, stamp the “1st” with the Hickory Smoke also. Use the Sticky Note Tape Roll to mask off the postage outline on the lower right side of the postage stamp outline. Now stamp the postage circle and cancellation stamp in the lower right corner. I did use the light gray (Lost Shadow) for this so it was lighter than the rest of the postage stamp. Now cut it out with the matching die.
Cut the rose outline using the Single Rose Stem and Silver Mirror Paper. Then cut the shadow die using white card stock. Color with Copic Markers. Adhere them together using the Precision Glue Press. Then add to the postage stamp also using the Precision Glue Press.
Add some Wink of Stella to the inside of the flower and add some Self-Adhesive Mini Pearls to jazz it up. Then add this layer to the Pinpoint Leaf Plate layer using White Crafty Foam Tape.
For the inside of the card I used one of our single stamps called Best Mail Day Ever.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
We have several of these thin beautiful flowers. Here are a few sample ….
