So aren't they the cutest things ever!!!  Looks kind of like the Roaring Twenties!  Let me show you how easy it is (f you are viewing this from your email, click here to see the video)…

Supplies:

Stamps:  A Dozen Thoughts and Happy Watercolor

Card Stock:  Pool Party, Island Indigo, Midnight Muse

Ink:  Island Indigo and Black Stazon

Accessories:  #133325 NEW Fringe Scissors, #129393 Creped Filter Paper, Linen Thread, Pool Party Seam Binding

TUTORIAL:

1.  Start with a cardbase that is the same color as your lightest color in your layers (I used Pool Party).  Cut the card base 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".

2.  Cut three pieces of Pool party at 2" x 4 1/4", with the short side on top, score ONLY two of these pieces at the 1" mark – leave one unscored.

3.  cut two pieces of Island Indigo at 2" x 4 1/4", with the short side on top, score these pieces at 1".

4.  cut two pieces of Midnight Muse at 2" x 4 1/4", with the short side on top, score these pieces at 1".

5.  Using your NEW Fringe Scissors, on the long side, fringe all six scored pieces up to the scored mark (it's okay if you go over a little bit, it will be covered with the next piece).

6.  Starting with the darkest card stock (in this card it's the Midnight Muse) adhere that piece to the base card with the fringe lined up on the bottom opening.

7.  Next piece of Midnight Muse, go up about 1/2" and adhere that piece.  Continue to do this with 5 of the 6 pieces of fringed layers, then STOP!

8.  On the piece of card stock that is NOT scored, stamp your sentiment.  Adhere THAT piece to the last piece (that is not attached to the card yet) of fringed card stock.  Take that layer and adhere it to your card.

9. Now yo have all the fringed pieces, it's time to embellish!  There are so many things you can do.  Go wild!

10.  Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy your creation!!!  You did great!
