October 2, 2025. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a gorgeous Winter/Holiday card. The glow of this lantern is absolutely beautiful. When I was a child we had one of these lamp posts in our front yard and my mom would decorate just like this. It brings back such wonderful heartwarming memories.

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
(includes Old Lamp Post, Melted Candles, Curled Holly Branch, Pine Needle Trio)
(includes Gilded Sleigh, Smooth Pine Cones, Holly Bundle, Gentle Pine Needle Sprig)
White Superfine Embossing Powder
I used Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber and Chipped Sapphire
NEW – Mini Ink Blending Brushes
Watercolor Flower Palette or Watercolor Paw Palette
Let’s start with the cardstock I used for the lantern. It’s from our Holographic Variety Cardstock. These papers are AMAZING and was PERFECT for the lantern look!!!! To get the glow behind the lantern I used our Distress Oxide Inks and I splattered with water to get the snowy dots. I also used Red Berry Drops for the berries! I used Crystal Glaze on the flame to make it shiny!
The words are so tiny and just the perfect size for this project – Elegant Holiday Wishes.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
