National Cancer Survivor Day
Hidy Ho Stampers,
June 4, 2023. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a few cards for National Cancer Survivors Day. This is the day each year that we pause to honor those who are living with a history of cancer for their strength and courage. Are you or do you know a Cancer survivor? I’m a cancer survivor! I feel so blessed every day! These cards can be made with any color ribbon. At the end of this post, I’ve put in a PDF for all colors of all cancers. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual treasured Celebration of Life that is held on the first Sunday in June. It is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families and an OUTREACH to the community.

StampWheel Replacement Sticky Mat: Grid
Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles
Copic Markers (I used R21, RV14, YG13)
WOW Ink Pad and Ink Roller Refill Combo
Wow Super Fine Clear Embossing Powder
I used the Ribbon from the Hope Set and stamped it on the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circles.
The sentiments came from the Faith Hope Love stamp set.
There are five sentiments in the Faith Hope Love set.
Stamp everything with Black Hybrid Ink. THEN stamp the same images with our WOW Ink Pad. Sprinkle on our Wow Super Fine Clear Embossing Powder and heat it with our Heat Tool. Make sure you use our Paper Paws to hold your image while you are heating it. They are made of silicone which is perfect for the heat!!! I colored it with Copic Markers (I used R21, RV14, YG13) and used Wink of Stella to make the ribbon all sparkly!
The background die is called Celeste Plate. It’s gorgeous and you will see me using it a lot. I finished off the card with our Mini Pearls.

Geometric Crystals Embossing Folder
Copic Markers (I used B21, B24, B29, E33, E37, 110)
Using the stamp set called Fight Like a Girl I made this card for a gentleman. These two sets that I’m highlighting today are made for everyone. They are a great set to have on hand. It’s not anything we want to make but I know when I had cancer, I loved getting happy mail. For the images I stamped them with our Black Hybrid Ink. For the gloves I used Copic Markers (I used B21, B24, B29, E33, E37, 110) to color. I also added some Crystal Glaze to make them look shiny and leathery.
Next pop it up onto the Stitched Nesting Square with one of our SMALL Wobbles!!!
So cute. It wiggles!
I adhered both squares to the Geometric Crystals Embossing Folder with Regular Black Foam Squares.
Yes, guys get cancer and they too love to get happy mail. Something to brighten their day!
