More Card making…

Hidy Ho Stampers,

Had lots to do today and got most of it done.  Started out by getting a new refrigerator.  That was so exciting (I know I know a little geeky but it's been 18 years since we had a new refrigerator)!  I love it.  I'm sitting here listening for the ice to fall!  :0)  Then I did some cleaning (YUCK)! but it's got to get done so I did it.  ThenI worked on my swaps some more (it's always fun and I look forward to doing a little every day).  Today was the day that I sponged the flowers…here is what they look like  now –

Can you see the difference?  When you sponge around the outside, it takes on a 3D look.  Okay so that is another element to my 123 card swap.  I can't wait to show you the finished card but that won't happen until 16th so until then, I will show you some of the elements – now you have to guess what it is going to look like.  This is done with the Flower, Daisies #2 die.  I just love this die.

After that, I drove down to Albany where my my daughter had her swearing in ceremony for the Civil Rights and Disabilities Law Clinic.  I'm so proud of her!  She is starting her second year of Law School!!!!   So proud of her.

I needed a masculine card so this is what I came up with.  Do you like the new embossing folder?  It's called Houndstooth.  I just love it.  I also used the new Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon – If you'd like to join our Ribbon Share, I'm on Share #2, as soon as I have 10 players, it's a go, contact me if you'd like to part of it.  And the stamp set that I used is called Word Play.  This was a very simple and fast card.  Hope you liked it.

Okay  –   TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 1st!!!!  That means we can order form the Holiday Mini Catalog.  HERE IS  MY FAVORITE THING FROM THE CATALOG – it's called the SIMPLY SCORED TOOL!!!  and oh boy the things you can do with it.

Give it up girls, you are definitely going to get it so do it today September 1st.  If you email me today (September 1st) ONLY, I will put your order in.  When you do that, I will enter  your name into a drawing for this bag which holds the Simply Scored.  It's free for one lucky person!  Hope to hear from you today!

My favorite bag made with my favorite material (also from the Holiday Mini catalog).  Love Love Love it!!!

Okay, gotta run!  Hope you liked my post.  Enjoy every minute of your day today!
