April 16, 2021. May Your Day Be Sweet today. This is such a “sweet” card! Really!!! It’s filled with chocolate goodness. I’m also showing you that there are three different sizes. If you purchase any of our slimline dies/stamps, you can use them on any sized card! Don’t be afraid to purchase slimline products. So let’s see what I picked for you today.
Remember, it doesn’t have to be hard, it doesn’t have to be complicated, just fun and thoughtful. All products can be found in our Teaspoon of Fun Shoppe.

Prills (I used “You Had Me At Yellow”)
Nuvo Drops – I used Red Berry for a cherry on top of one of the candies
I decided to make this first card an A2 shaker card. Even though this swiss is filled with holes, the Acetate holds it all in! I surrounded it with our Foam Strips and it keeps all the inside.
For this one I matched our swiss cheese with the “We Had You at Yellow” prills. I also added some Crystal Glaze to the Chocolate Covered Cherry to make it even sweeter! Sooooo much fun.
I also colored with Copic Markers (All links for copics are in the menu below).
The colors I used are:
Mouse: R30, R32, C1, C3, C5, Booo
Candy: E00, E13, E15, E29
Icing: R24, R39
So that card is a traditional A2 card. But here is what I want you to take note of…if you say you don’t want to get into slimlines but you love some of the stamps and dies, you CAN transform these stamps and dies to adapt to any sized card and you may even get the courage to try a slimline (ha ha ha). Here we have an A2, Mini Slim and full sized slimline card!

can you see how I adapted the Swiss Dots Die to make it work for a Slimline card.
In true Deb Valder fashion, I’m working smarter not harder. I try to always cut out lots of a die when I’m cutting and I store them in an envelope right with the die. BUT….what do you do with the little pieces (in this case the dot for the letter “i”)? well take a piece of your Sticky Note Tape and keep it on them in the envelope. It’s just a temporary stick so they come off easy with your Jewel Picker. Pick it up and put it on your card! WOW!!!!
And don’t forget those envelopes!!!! How much fun bringing these to the post office (leave them black and white or color them in!!!
