Lovely Border Meets Bud Trio

January 15, 2024. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a card made with some really fun products and it is GORGEOUS!!! Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today …

Magnolia Bud Trio (A must have in your craft room)
Colors I used: R00, R30, R32
YG63, YG67, BG78
Colors I used: Lost Shadow
Start with a 3 3/4″ piece of Navy card stock and cut out the heart border from Lovely Border. Using your Blending Brush and Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink blend in the color from the middle out making sure you lighten your touch as you move outward. You want the middle lighter than the outside. To finish the background, take your Bleed-Proof White Luma and your Soft Bristled Toothbrush (this is my go-to brush with soft bristles) and sprinkle on the spatters of white. Adhere this layer to the card base using our EZ Grand Tape Dispenser
If you are unfamiliar with the Luma Technique, here is a video showing you how to “spray” your card to add so much elegance to it. It’s easy and fun and just adds so much to the finished piece.
Now let’s create the flower. Cut out all your pieces from Magnolia Bud Trio, Just Leaves and Thinking of You Die using white card stock and color with your Copic Markers. Glue them all together using your Precision Glue Press, curl them with your Crease Tool and Retractable Pick and adhere them to your card layer. NOTE: I like to cut THREE layers of the sentiment and adhere them together so it is raised. WOW it looks nice!
Add some Wink of Stella to your sentiment to make it sparkle. Put a few Mini Pearls on with your Jewel Picker to finish of the elegance of the card and you are done!
