Looking Glass Winter Forest

September 28, 2o22. Today Teaspoon of Fun has added some NEW items to the “Sidewalk Sale” and “One and Done” sections of our website. Make sure you check it out. Today we are bringing you a beautiful holiday card but can also be used for birthday, thinking of you and more! Just change the saying!! Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today here…
It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
White Gel Pen (for snow)
I used Vintage Photo for that vintage look!
This is our new Alignment Tool A2&A6 Stencil to be used with all our Looking Glass Dies.
It makes it so much easier to align your layers.
This set has 3 dies with it that you can use together as I did here or you can use one or two depending on what you wanted as your final piece. The colors and the mix and match of dies are amazing and ideas are endless. They all look so different. So what is the sandwich for assembly…..
Card Base (here I used a navy base)
Evergreen Trees (put the mini THIN White Foam Squares on the back of this and add it to the cardbase).
Birch Trees ((put the mini THIN White Foam Squares on the back of this and add it to the mountains).
Deer layer (which is a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece. I centered the die and cut out. Put your THIN White Foam Squares on the back of this ONLY around the frame. At the top and bottom of the base you are going to add REGULAR WHITE FOAM TAPE! You need to even out the layers.
Make sure you have some THIN White Foam Squares on hand. For this design, we have 4 layers going on so you don’t want to make it too thick. I always tell you there is a reason you need a tool or embellishment…this is a perfect example of this. You really don’t want it too fat or you will be paying more postage.
And for the It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year sentiment, I cut three of them and adhered them with our Deluxe Adhiesive for more depth! Can you see the raised image?
