January 27, 2022. Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a pretty spring card. I know it’s not spring and I KNOW we are going to have a Nor’easter/Bomb Cyclone this weekend here in the northeast but we have to look ahead beyond the white stuff! I fell in love with this new die in the Teaspoon of Fun Shop. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…

Magical Friendship Sentiments (gorgeous sayings)
Distressed Oxides(I used Salvaged Patina)
For the background I used Salvaged Patina Distressed Oxide Ink and our Blending Brushes to create this soft springy feel! Blend from the outside to the inside so you have a white spotlight for the sentiment. All the images were colored with our watercolor line of products BUT you could use our Copic markers or our colored pencils (links are below)! What is your favorite coloring medium?
This sentiment is from our Magical Friendship Set.
It has some really wonderful sayings in it.
Let’s take a look at what you need to do to prep before you start to color….
Obviously cut out your die. (Here I put a patterned paper behind it from our Flora 6 x 6 Paper Pack.
Using our Make Art Stay-tion and Sticky Note Tape, tape it down along the die borders.
Now just paint or color away!
This is such a pretty die. I love winter but look forward to the changing seasons! It’s been a cold one this year!

Then the next thing I wanted to show you is how I stand my cards up to display and to photograph. This one is not from the refrigerator, it’s used by florists. It’s called a frog, I’m not sure why, it doesn’t look a thing like a frog but that’s what they call it. Click here to check it out.
