It’s World Crocodile Day

June 17, 2025. OMGEEEEEEE who would have thought???? It’s World Crocodile Day. World Crocodile Day is a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of crocodile conservation and protection. It’s a day to learn about these amazing reptiles and the threats they face, such as habitat loss and hunting.
Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you another in our series of “Peekers”. I just love these sets. We have so many of them in the shop now and are just fun to stamp with. We have MANY new ones in the shop.

I used:
Gators – YG00, YG01, YG13, YG17, G28
Tongue – R000, RV95
Eyes – C1, C5
EZ Runner Grand Tape Dispenser

Here are some things that MUST be in every paper crafters craft room….
I used Copic Markers (Gators – YG00, YG01, YG13, YG17, G28; Tongue – R000, RV95; Eyes – C1, C5) to color each of the gators. It was fast and Copics blend so well. I added a few highlights with our White Gel Pen.
I’m sending this one to a dear friend. I know she will just love it and it will be all giggles for her when she opens it. I used the OMG! Word Die and one of the adorable sentiments that comes with the set. I always use my Tonic Fine Tip Tweezers to pick up small pieces and add to the card. I used our Precision Glue Press to attach the words to the layer.
I used the Slimline Observation Deck Die cut from our Black Diamond Sparkle Paper for the frame. I also used the Lemon Lime Sparkle Paper for the background layer. We do carry a VARIETY PACK of SPARKLE PAPER also. This allows you to try all the colors we do stock in the shop. To attach the frame to the Lemon Lime Sparkle Paper I used our Black 3D Foam Strips to give it some dimension and to make it look like the crocs were really behind the frame.
I attached the Lemon Lime Sparkle Paper with our EZ Runner Grand Tape Dispenser and added this layer to the Slimline Card Bases. Top it off with a Slimline Envelope and your friends will be as happy as mine when they receive this adorable card. I hope this has brought a little joy and maybe a smile to your face.
