It looks so much prettier in person!!! I love this card! My question is, do the chalks ever fully dry? I noticed that when you turned your colored piece over to put on adhesive, it left a lot of color on your silicone mat and smudged your edges. Was that because it hadn’t dried, or do you need a fixative to keep it from smearing? Darn you! I didn’t think I needed the chalk inks or chalkboard paper and the embellishment kit, LOL.

Your video is wonderful….thought you could cut up the Jute ribbon and love what you did – I would go crazy trying to make four (or three) bows and stacking them! I love this Artisian Kit so much that I ordered a second one! Personally I like the brighter version of your card…to me looks more victorian and almost stained glass. your granddaughter is ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!! Love that she looks tooo cute in any of the hats and she knows that she can wear it any way she likes….lol…love her independence!

Hi Theresa, Yes they do dry but they take some time to dry unless you use your heat gun to speed it along. I grabbed one that I just inked that’s why it was still wet. It’s a GORGEOUS card, really. I’ve them all over my stamp room ready to send out to those that purchase from me in March. GORGEOUS!!!!! ha ha ha…yes you DO need these inks. You may want to get a few of the embellishment kits as they are soooooooooo gorgeous also.!!! If you have any questions, let me know. deb http://www.stampladee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs.
