Hidy Ho Stampers,

Whew….crazy busy here in the NorthEast and STILL lots of snow here!  Not kidding, we are going to have these piles of snow until July!

Seriously!!!!  Those little posts are JUST sticking out of the snow!

They are just a little shorter than I am!  ugh…

Okay on to today’s card.  I love these cards and the patterns.  I’ve been playing with different quilt patterns.  So those of you that quilt, this is a great card for you and those that are “quilt maker wanna be’s” this is also JUST for you!  ha ha ha…

Okay a little quiz, what is different about the two cards other than the middle embellishment?  Did you find it?

Can you tell now?  I just roated the pattern from up and down to side to side!  It makes it look soooooo different.  Here’s another example…

Beeeeeeautiful!

Which way do you like?  I think I like the pattern going sideways the best!  How about you?  Here is a video to show you just how I did it.  If you are viewing this in your email, make sure you click on the picture and it will take you to my blog where you can get the video!

So what did you think?  Wasn’t that soooooo easy?  Here are the paper sizes…

Base Card is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″;  The first layer is 4″ x 4″; next layer is 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″; next layer is 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and the last layer (the one on-point) is 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″.    You will cut your squares at 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″.

Man Deb, can’t Mother Nature give you a break, it’s suppose to be Spring!
Very pretty design for a Quilt Card. I bet any quilter would appreciate getting a card like yours. I alway admire anyone who does quilting. I probably would have gotten into it if I hadn’t had so many crafts going. I love to sew but stamping, crocheting and knitting keeps me busy.

Hi Lois, I would LOVE to make a quilt but I too don’t have the time. I love to sew and I used to sew my kids clothes when they were little but stamping keeps me pretty busy. I loved to crochet and knit also as well as cake decorating and ceramics but I don’t do those any more…I love to stamp! :o) So this is as close as I’m going to get to quilting. :0) Please let me know if you have any questions. deb http://www.stampladee.stampinup.net for all your shopping needs.
