Floating Lattice Plate Card
Hidy Ho Stampers,
April 20, 2023. Today’s card share from Teaspoon of Fun is another in our series of “stacking” die cards (that’s what I’m calling it). They are simply gorgeous and fun to make different combinations. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
So So pretty!
Colors I used:
Tulips – R05, R27, R39, YG13, YG17, G28
Butterfly – Y06, YR04, R24
Triangle Embellishment Sorting Tray
The Gilded Plate layered over the Lattice Plate is one of the prettiest I’ve done in this series. What do you think? The design is like no other we have in the shop. It’s simply gorgeous.
A new flower die we have is called Layered Tulips. It’s another gorgeous addition to the shop as well as to this card. You just cut a bunch of them out, curl and layer with our Deluxe Adhesive and attach them to your card with the Regular White Foam Squares. I colored the tulips/stems with our Copic Markers. You could definitely cut all of these out of colored card stock to simplify but it’s so pretty with the shading. Also added to the tulips I used a couple of our Fairy Drops to give the affect of dew on the flower. I used our Crystal Glaze to attach to the flowers. Make sure you pick up one of our Triangle Embellishment Sorting Tray to sort out the sizes. There are many different sizes of Fairy Drops in your package. Use your Jewel Picker to pick them up.
The butterfly came from a set that I’m sure you picked up earlier from our paper crafting shop Teaspoon of Fun. It’s called Wisteria Heroscape stamp and die combo. I colored the butterfly and the tulips/stems with our Copic Markers. You could definitely cut all of these out of colored card stock to simplify but it’s so pretty with the shading. To finish the butterfly I added some Wink of Stella to make her glisten! SO pretty.
Using our Brush Hello sentiment, I cut three and layered for the depth. What do you think? Do you do that? Layer your sentiments? I love that look and intensity. To finish off the sentiment, I added Wink of Stella for that little touch of elegance (it’s hard to see here)
To really make this over the top elegant, I added a Mini Pearl to each of the crossings. OMG! Use your Retractable Craft Picker to pick these up – they are self-adhesive pearls.
Here is another card I did using the Gilded Plate.

We have an entire series of these layering dies and I know we will be adding more. The coolest part to these dies is that you can mix and match them or just use plain (all by themselves)! Here are just a few in the shop now…
