Elegant Backyard Basics with Deb Valder

Hidy Ho Stampers,

I created a card for one of my newest downline.   I'm gathering a basket of cards to send her so she has a great start to her new business.  This is one of the ones I'm sending her.

Backyard Basics

What do you think?  I love this set because it is bundled with a framelit.

The flower was cut out with a framlit and I popped it up.

Supplies and Tutorial:

Stamps:  Backyard Basics Bundle (you get the stamp set Backyard Basics and the coordinating Backyard Basics Framelits – #132729 Wood mount or #132728 Clear mount); and for the sentiment I used one of the sayings out of Six-Sided Sampler (that too is a bundle)

Ink:  Elegant Eggplant, Black Stazon

Card Stock:  Elegant Eggplant; Whisper White; and Watercolor Paper

Accessories:  NEW #132175 Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder; Ovals Collection Framelits; Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack; Markers and Aqua Pen

TUTORIAL:

Cardbase + Layers:  4 1/4" x 11"; Whisper White layer (top piece) 3 3/4" x 5"; Whisper White underneath layer 3 3/4" x 5" and run it through the Pretty Print Textured Impression Embossing Folder.  Adhere this textured piece to the cardbase.

Take the outside piece of Whisper White card stock and cut out the larger oval.  Stamp the saying from the Six-Sided Sampler on the upper left corner (I added a flower and pearl also), this can now be popped onto the card over the Pretty Print Textured piece.

Grab a piece of Elegant Eggplant card stock and cut out an oval using TWO of the Ovals Dies (it will now be a frame for your piece).

Now stamp the image from Backyard Basics with Stazon Ink and  color it in with markers and an aqua pen.  I used Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive and So Saffron to color.  Cut that out with the matching framelit.  I stuck the stem into the bottom and popped the rest on.

What do you think?  I love the way it came out. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my post and remember to PIN my card to Pinterest (hover over the card and just click ) and subscribe to my Pinterest Boards, like me on my business facebook page, MAKE SURE you subscribe to my YouTube Channel and please don't forget to subscribe to THIS blog so you don't miss a thing I'm bringing your way.  I'm going to start my FULL SWING Holiday cards soon….so don't miss it!  Hope your day is a fantastic one.
