July 20, 2024. Today’s card from Teaspoon of Fun is a special butterfly card. It’s a great card to pair up with our Happy Wishes Sentiment set. Another clean and simple card.

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Hybrid Ink – I used Black
remember to add Hybrid Ink Re-Fills
I used Saltwater Taffy, Festive Berries and Hickory Smoke
remember to add Distress Oxide Re-Inkers
Stone Drops – I used Boulder Gray and Pink Granite
Tim Holtz Retractable Craft Pick
For the background I burnished with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Festive Berries, Hickory Smoke and Saltwater Taffy and our Blending Brushes. Then after blending these three colors together, I stamped Script Bold Background Stamp with our Black Hybrid Ink (we also sell the Hybrid Ink Re-Fills for our Ink Pads). I love all our Distress Oxide Inks. Like all the other Distress Oxides, we are carrying the ink pads as well as the Distress Oxide Re-Inkers. If you are a blending background kind of stamper like me, you will want to get the re-inker to keep those pads juicy and ready to go!
I used Boulder Gray Stone Drops for the middle of the butterfly. Let’s talk about Stone Drops. WOW is all I can say. They have the coolest texture. They are like our Nuvo Drops but feel like sand. It’s so cool! All the colors are the best but I used Boulder Gray and Pink Granite for this piece (two of my favorites). I cut a butterfly from the strip, blended it with the Distress Ink and adhered it with our Precision Glue Press.
Happy Wishes is filled with some beautiful sentiments.
It’s a little hard to see here in the picture but I added Wink of Stella to the butterflies. I put the die cut piece to the card base with White Crafty Foam Tape.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
