Daisy Burst For You

May 24, 2022 Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a monochromatic card using our Bees and Flowers die. I’ve used this quite a bit and wanted to give you some more inspiration. The inspiration came from my friend Lauren who sent me a version of this as a thank you card. LOVE IT!! Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today… 
Pastel Highlights Watercolor Pencils
Let’s take a look at some of the sweet details for this monochromatic card.
- Take a 2 1/2″ x 6 1/4″ piece of card stock and cut using our Slimline Envelope Edger Die.
- Next take these two pieces that were just cut in half and run it through your die cutting machine using our Daisy Burst Embossing Folder.
- Adhere that to a strip (1″ x 6 1/4″) of coordinating card to make this finished top layer 3 1/8″ x 6 1/4″.
- Adhere this to the Mini Slimline Card Base
- Cut some of the daisies from the Bees and Flowers Die and color the centers with a coordinating color. I used the blush pencil from the Pastel Highlights Watercolor Pencils
- Cut off the stems of the flowers and adhere them to the card along the “wave” with our Regular White Foam Squares.
- Cut three sets of “for you’s” from our For You Die. Glue these three together with our Deluxe Adhesive and place them on your card.
- Don’t forget to add our Mini Slimline Envelopes to your basket so you can send out your card.
